Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday expressed grief at the death of Narayanganj district Awami League member and Sonargaon Upazila Parishad chairman Mosharraf Hossain.
Sheikh Hasina, also the President of Awami League, prayed for the eternal salvation of the departed soul and expressed sympathy to his bereaved family members.
Mosharraf breathed his last on Thursday evening at a hospital in the capital city at the age of 74.
He left behind his wife, one son, and a host of relatives, colleagues and well-wishers to mourn his death.
AL General Secretary and Highways and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader also expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Mosharraf.
