2 people killed in road accident in Brahmanbaria

Two motorcyclists named Mohibul Islam Chanchal (38) and Shaheen Chowdhury (48) were killed in a head-on collision with a CNG-powered auto-rickshaw in Brahmanbaria. The accident took place in Kodda area of ​​Akhaura-Brahmanbaria road on Sunday morning.

Deceased Mahibul Islam son of deceased Swapan Mia of Madhyapara of Chanchal district town and son of deceased Bachchu Mia of Nayanpur of Shaheen Chowdhury town area. 5 passengers of a CNG autorickshaw were injured in this accident. Eyewitnesses said that Chanchal and Shaheen were going towards Akhaura on a motorcycle. On the way Kodda collided head-on with a CNG-powered autorickshaw coming from the opposite direction near the railway cabin house.

Motorcycles and autorickshaws were thrown on the side of the road. Two motorcyclists were killed on the spot in this accident. 5 passengers of the autorickshaw were injured. Officer-in-charge of Brahmanbaria Sadar Model Police Station Mozaffar Hossain said that the police were sent to the spot after receiving information.
