COVID-19 is a threat to humankind. It is also to blame for the destruction of many lives. Many people became jobless and many people died due to the transmission of the disease. But being a curse, COVID-19 opened up some gates to mankind that are for our own good.  Recent news has to say, wildlife seems to appear in the urban and suburban areas in search of food and also enjoying their newfound freedom. Many animals are seen entering people’s property and having friendly interactions with humans. Some of the animals are getting adopted by people and becoming a part of their family. But not all wildlife encounters are friendly. But in this process of survival, humans are learning to share the world with other creatures.

COVID-19 also has a positive impact on climate which helped in the reduction of carbon dioxide emission to a mass extent. It also reduced air pollution and filtered the air that we breathe. The pandemic may symbolise the beginning of a new era as the image of the society seems to change.
