For the first time, a joint exhibition of Bangladesh-India is scheduled to begin in Dhaka in September.

This exhibition will be organized virtually due to the Corona epidemic.

Sources said the exhibition will be inaugurated on 1st September and will continue till 15th September. Though it was scheduled to start from 15th August, it has been canceled as 15 August is the Independence Day of India but it is the national mourning day in Bangladesh.

The exhibition will be held on under the banner of 'Scarlet India'. A joint exhibition has been organized aiming to deepen India-Bangladesh relations.

Mini Karim- director of the fine arts department of the Bangladesh Shilpa Kala Academy, and veteran, many talented artists, including renowned Indian painter Yogen Chowdhury are expected to take part in it.

It is learned that Samir Chanda and Dipankar Sanskritization are the main branches of Scarlet India and Mahmuda Assafra Mim is the coordinator of Bangladesh. On the other hand, Rokeya Prachi, a prominent playwright and social worker is the brand ambassador of Scarlet India Bangladesh branch.

 In addition, Kazi Rajib, a renowned art director and art critic from Delhi is working as an advisor of the Scarlet India Bangladesh branch. Mahmuda Assafra Mim said, "it is happening in Bangladesh for the first time." Asked about the main goals and objectives of the exhibition, Mim said, "The main goal of the exhibition is Bangladesh and India friendship." At the same time to exchange the culture of Bangladesh and India.

"Ordinary people, including painters, are not able to leave their homes because of the Corona epidemic, she said. And it is not possible for the painters to sell their works. That is why a virtual exhibition of paintings has been organized under the banner of Scarlet India. "One of our goals is to help the artists who are lagging behind in the current Corona era with the money earned from this exhibition- added Mim. She urged everyone to stay with the art and the artists during the corona period.
