A fishmonger was killed
in a lightning strike at Mollahat in Bagerhat on Wednesday, Aug-11, afternoon.
The deceased was
identified as Prakash Biswas, 35, son of Binoy Biswas of Munijila village under
same upazila of Bagerhat district.
According to locals,
Prakash Biswas and his wife were working near their pond when it suddenly
started raining. Though his wife took shelter in the house, Prakash kept
working and got struck by lightning.
He was rushed to
Mollahat Upazila Health Complex where doctors declared him dead.
