Coronavirus: 13 new deaths, 368 cases

Thirteen more people died from coronavirus and 368 newly contracted the virus in the past 24 hours. With this, the total fatalities and infections rose to 29,077 and 19,46,737 respectively, a health directorate press release on Saturday.

Bangladesh, however, first reported its coronavirus cases on March 8, 2020.  The virus first emerged in the Chinese city of Wuhan in December 2019 and then it spread to other countries.

To date, the epidemic infected 444,239,506 people and killed 6,011,407 across the globe, according to Worldometer, a website that compiles the number of new coronavirus cases and deaths from it. However, the total number of people who recovered from the virus reached 377,145,329 across the world.
