Unidentified body recovered from Bahadurshah Park area in Old Dhaka

Police have recovered the body of an unidentified man from an area adjacent to Bahadur Shah Park in the capital's Old Dhaka.
The body was recovered at around 9pm on Thursday and taken to Sutrapur Police Station. Eyewitnesses said the body was seen lying in the Bahadurshah Park area since noon today. Later, when the matter was reported to the police, they went to the spot and recovered the body.
In this regard, Sutrapur Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Anwar Hossain said, "We received the information around 5:30 pm. We went to the spot and recovered the body. So far, it has not been possible to identify the body. An autopsy report has been prepared. We will take it to the police station and try to identify the body through fingerprints. After that, necessary legal action will be taken."
