Deputy Minister for Water Resources AKM Enamul Haque Shamim said the government of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has formed a trust by enacting laws for the welfare of journalists. And the way this government has helped journalists during the Corona period has not been done in any other country. Bangabandhu's daughter always evaluates the journalists of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. As a journalist-friendly prime minister, he is the best in the world.

He was speaking as the chief guest at the signing ceremony of the Best Aid Telemedicine Services Agreement and the opening ceremony of SMC-Salute Frontliners at Dhaka Reporters' Unity (DRU) Yesterday(July 14) morning.

Enamul Haque Shamim further said that the media has undergone such a groundbreaking development in running the country of Bangabandhu's daughter Sheikh Hasina. As well as that demand for responsible journalism has increased. Due to the liberal democratic attitude of the government, there has been a massive expansion of media in the country in recent times. However, journalists should not compromise on the question of the great liberation war, Bangabandhu and Bangladesh. Those who do not believe in the independence of the country and are involved in various conspiracies against the country should be avoided. Therefore, I urge the journalists to highlight the developments of the government.

The former organizing secretary of the Awami League said that BNP leaders occasionally spoke on the issue of journalists, but during their time several journalists including Shamsur Rahman, Manik Saha, Humayun Kabir Balu were brutally killed, many were tortured, did they forget that.
