A motor-biker
was killed in a road crash Tuesday afternoon at Khanjapur Battala area of
Gournadi upazila on the Dhaka-Barishal highway
The deceased was identified as Yasin Jamaddar (34),
son of Nizamul Haque of Piplita village in Jhalokati Sadar upazila.
Gournadi Highway Police Sergeant Mahabub Islam said
he was going to Jhalokati on a motorcycle from Dhaka.
“On his way he was hit by an unidentified truck
coming from the opposite direction at Khanjapur Battala on Dhaka-Barishal
highway and died on the spot.”
The body has been sent to Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy, he said.
