Finally, the students who were stuck in Dhaka under lockdown under the management of Jagannath University (JU) administration left for home on Yesterday morning. The students' bus left the campus for their destination shortly after 9 am.

On the first day, the university's own buses as well as double-decker buses hired by BRTC will reach the students in Rangpur, Rajshahi and Sylhet divisional cities.

The university administration has said that the program will continue to reach the students in the rest of the departmental cities on Sunday and Monday.

Displaying the university ID card as per the instructions, the body temperature is measured and the bus is allowed to board. Special stickers have been affixed in front of each bus.

In addition, the students have been asked to be vigilant from their respective places regarding the observance of hygiene rules.

In this direction, the campus became the focus of the students' walk in the morning. For a while, however, Jagannath University seemed to return to its former glory. One student said the dream was going home, in Jagannath's car.

Authorities are controlling the entire management until the university bus leaves the campus.

University Proctor. Mostafa Kamal made everyone aware of the overall issue of the bus. At this time, the administrator of the transport pool advised the driver to drive the bus carefully so that the students could reach safely and to drop off the students after understanding the place of the assistants.

University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. appeared before leaving the bus. Imdadul Haque. He advised the students to take care of their own safety to go home carefully.

Returning home on the university bus, Mathematics student Anupam told Meida , 'I came to the campus for exams. The test is postponed, so I have to go home. And still go home on Eid.

'I couldn't figure out how to go to the lockdown. Because no car was running in the lockdown. I have been suffering from uncertainty since then, whether I will be able to go home or not. In such a situation, the university is very happy to deliver us home, which also beats the joy of Eid.

Mehedi Hasan, a student of Geography and Environmental Sciences Department, told “This feeling is not like expressing in words. I applaud such an initiative of the university administration. Leaving the lockdown, we might have had to return home with the risk of double rent.

'Corona was afraid of being attacked. The university administration has protected us from that risk.
